I designed Anne's original site in 2006, and she felt the time was right for a revamp. The site is now bilingual and managed by two editors. The sites use Wordpress Multisite with a common theme, which means that the content can be different on each site while retaining an identical look-and-feel. It also uses theme translations, allowing other languages to be added easily. Visit Anne Schwanewilms »

Working with the agency Public Life, this was another Wordpress site that needed an integrated calendar of events. The use of Wordpress means that VAI are able to update and control the image-based landing page and homepage patches with a very simple interface.

Video Nation shows the power of television to find beauty in everyday life. The TV series ran from 1993 to 1998 and was resurrected as a BBC Website in 2001. I comissioned the design, trained new producers throughout the UK and digitised old shorts. One of my favourites is Lacking.
Much of the site has been redesigned since I left the BBC. Visit BBC Video Nation »
